Owens Sent: Tuesday, October 09, 2007 10:25 PM To: ALCOFFEE mailing list Subject: Re: [ALCOFFEE] Hmmmmmm Thank you for your support. I love this ALCOFFEE mailing list. It is the most downhome and helpful list I have ever been on or moderated. Everyone is comfortable and at home here. We may get a little off subject at times, but we all know where the delete button is when we do not wish to read an email or participate in a conversation. I am not going anywhere!! They will have to boot kick me to the curb first!! I have been here far too long to go that easily. LOL! I was just warning you folks just in case they do boot me to the curb. LOL! Just because he/she (Lauren) who sent the email moderates 159 message boards and approximately 100 lists and has been a volunteer since 1996 does not mean I am going anywhere without being tossed out. If he/she moderates that many boards and mailing lists, there must be no action on any of them for her to have time to take to write to me about our ALCOFFEE mailing list. I know I have to work bounces about five to fifteen times per day on this list. He/she wrote me back: "Hello Phyllis: I have no desire to admin your list. Many admins did not realize their welcome messages disappeared when the software was changed from Smartlist to Mailman. And some are confused between the tagline area and the welcome message area. Or just plain do not know where to find it in the new tools. Cheers, Lauren" I love this ALCOFFEE mailing list and its subscribers. We are not THAT simple. *grins* We just do not conform easily to rules that have no bearing on our happy li'l list. You all take care now.....*hugs* And...THANK YOU!! Phyllis J. K.
