    3. Claudia, I have a small connection to Charles and Emma Nell...They were the parents of Lonnie Lee Dyess who married one of my Wood kin. I'd like to learn more about them. One of Lonnie's kin runs a small store at New Hope, Coffee County, Alabama. Mamie Sorrells, married my gr-gr-uncle, Lem Wood, their marriage license states that Mamie was married by permission of her father, A. J. Bryan. Mamie's grand-daughter says that Mamie's father was John Edward Sorrells. Can someone help clarify this? Jacob "Jake" Walker, first cousin of my grandma Alice Maddox Butts, married Minnie Jane Green, Who was the parents of Minnie?...'nuff said, willie -----Original Message----- >From: Claudia Adams <creola4321@yahoo.com> >Sent: Oct 20, 2007 10:44 AM >To: gc-gateway@rootsweb.com, alcoffee@rootsweb.com >Subject: Re: [ALCOFFEE] Simmons Mill, Coffee County, Alabama > >I keep seeing the Dyess name on the query.
