    3. Debra, I can't tell you much about the Spurlins, but there is a Kelly line in their background. William Spurlin, married to Celia, was the son of William, Sr. and Elizabeth Kelly Spurlin. Elizabeth was the daughter of Jacob and Chloe Kelly who settled in Coffee County also.Jacob was the son of Jacob, Sr. and Susanna Allen Kelly. Sr. was a Revolutionary soldier and son of William Kelly of North Carolina. These are notes I have for Jacob, Jr. and Chloe who came to Coffee Co including some of my own questions. Jacob Kelly , Jr. Birth: 1780/1783, Clarke Co., Georgia Death: 13 Dec 1862, Coffee Co., Alabama Jacob lived in Clarke Co., GA, 1804-1810. Did he marry Chloe there? He was in the 1820 Wilkinson Co., GA census, p. 211. 1830 and 1840 censuses both found him in Dooly Co., GA. 1850 and 1860 censuses both showed him in Coffee Co., AL. Jan. 19, 1854 Deed Book F, pp. 18&19 John W.
