    3. Janet, Sorry, afraid I can be of little or no help; whatever it is that I do, runs directly to Confederate soldiers from SE Ala and limited family information; I'm sure there are others listers who can be of far greater help than I. The few Confederate Folsom's I have encountered were mostly from Barbour and Coffee; Elisha, 1824-1887, who you mentioned earlier, served as Pvt, Co A, 3d Bn, Ala Reserves; I believe he was a s/o John Folsom; Elisha m. Martha Lee, 1817-1870; at least one son served in the war, William W. as Pvt, Co H, 53d Ala Cav Rgt; Elisha and Martha are buried at Old Tab in Coffee. There were two that I know of from Barbour County, both I believe lived in the Eufaula Area: George Washington, b. 1848 in Barbour; served as a pvt in the Girard Home Guards; and James M., b. 1842 in Randolph County, Ga served first in the 1st Ga Inf Rgt and later in the 3d Bn, Ga Inf; d. Oct 15, 1917 and he and w. Nancy L., 1849- 1910 are buried in Fairview Cemetery at Eufaula; in looking at a 1903 obit from Barbour, James and George were sons of Elizabeth, who d. at Eufaula, age 90. The others who would have served from the area, but I know nothing further: A.J., Pvt, Co B, 57th Ala Inf. Jackson, Pvt, Co D, 53d Ala Cav. Young R. Folsome, Pvt, Kolb's Btry, Ala Lgt Arty. Deo Vindice, Homer T.
