I have Willis Boutwell in my files born 1803 Darlinton, SC died 1878 Milo, Pike County, AL. He married Lydia Oliver born 1804 SC died 1875 Pike County, AL about 1820 in SC. They had 12 children from about 1823 to 1854. He married second to Malissa Adams Oc t 17, 1872 in Pike County (later Troy, Bullock County, AL ) and they had 4 children. After looking at my files I find I have 3 birthdates for him: 1803, 1792 and 1798. In the 1850 census he is 55 years old. In the 1860 census he is listed as 57 years old.
Is Willis related to Nancy Boutwell, wife of John Dowling. They settled in Dale County Alabama.
