The Grancer Harrison referred to is William Grancer Harrison. I have read that his slaves referred to him as "Grand Sir". Take a look at http://www.grancerthedancer.com Click on WELCOME on the left side of page for a description of Grancer. There is a picture of the Grancer Harrison tomb after it was vandalized at http://www.grancerthedancer.com/content_webpages/contents_joansrelativeramblings.htm Joan West has created some great reading here also. There is a picture of the Old Harrison Church (now County Line Church) and the Grancer Harrison tomb since it has been refurbished at http://www.grancerthedancer.com/content_webpages/contents_whatsnew.htm Phyllis J. K. Owens Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, Dark Hershey's Chocolate Bar, chocolate-peanut clusters, and Hershey's kisses in one hand, Pepsi, moon pies, peanut butter and all the Beich banana kisses one can hold in the other hand, chewing Wrigley's Juicy Fruit gum, body throughly worn out and screaming happily "WooHooo! What a ride!! Yeah!! Yeeeehaaaa!!" ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, October 20, 2005 7:06 AM Subject: Re: [ALCOFFEE] Harrison Cemetery > Hello Phiyllis, > I think I missed something,is it ok for you too fill us in on Grancer > Harrison and the dancing part?
