--Phyllis,wasnt off subject,was so nice too hear,brought back our old icebox,made me smile.Our ice box was wood,green,had two doors,and a bigger door on bottom,for the ice.When the cows were milked and the milk was strained,it was kept in the ice box,then when the cream came too the top,it was skimed,and the cream was kept with the milk in that old icebox.After a few days,was time to churn the milk,then we had butter,and buttermilk in the icebox,oh wish I had some of that butter now.. -- Claudia Adams <creola4321@yahoo.com> wrote: > Such great memories !!!!! > Claudia > > "Phyllis J.
