Isaac Simion Coon, b. 07 JUn 1880, was the son of Isaac Gideon Coon and Elizabeth "Betts" Hattaway. Isaac Simion married Martha Lee "Kittie" Raley. I am trying to determine if Isaac was possibly called "Bud". Ther are 2 graves in the Cool Springs Cemetery in Opp, Covington Co., AL, the headstones are unreadable but someone put a concrete marker at their graves and hand scribed "Bud and Kitty Coon". Does anyone know if these graves belong to the above mentioned Isaac and Kittie? Shelby Corcoran sheb212@bellsouth.net

Just go to http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/index?list=alcoffee and you will be able to research and peruse the old emails posted to the list since January 1998. I am sure many will find information that might not be posted elsewhere in the conversations and information that we have shared. For example: This past week, someone posted concerning Strickland. There is an email referring to Strickling/Strickland/Stricklin in the January 1998 archives. Happy reading and hope all find something they seek. Everyone take care now..... Phyllis J. K. Owens

I don't know if Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery is on line or not. I attend church there and also have a great Grand daddy and Grand mother burried there. Levy and Elizabeth Wise and their 10 year and 23 year old daughters , Amma Iola , the 10 year old and Narcissus Elizabeth Rhodes, the 23 year old. There are more Rhodes but I don't remember their names. Hope you find who you are searching for.
