Anyone have any information regarding George Thomas Arnold's ancestors? He was my grandfather, but it is my understanding that his parents died when he was very young and he was raised by his uncle (?). My husband's g-gm was Volie Jones b. 3 Apr 1886 Coffee County, AL, d. 1965 Coffee County, AL. Volie's parents were Mary Edison Sanders and James Jones m. Dec 1872 in Barbour County, AL. I have not been able to trace the Sanders line and would also like any info on them. I have not looked in Barbour County yet, but my line may be from there instead of Coffee County.
