    2. Do you have any info on John A. Harrison's line? He was the son of Grancer Harrison and I am trying desperately to verify that he is my Great Grandfathers Dad. My Great Grandfather was William Henry Harrison born 4/3/1859 Coffee County, died May 8, 1947, Walton County, FL. Do you know the last name of Sarah that was John A. Harrison's spouse? She supposedly died when William Henry Harrison was very young, maybe 1or2 years of age. Nancy J. Harrison Fleming his oldest sister took him into her home and raised him when she married. Thanks for any help. Shelah

    2. Thanks for the information on the Harrison Legacy. I had forgotten that I did own the book at one time and found a lot of mistakes in it that I wrote him and corrected. As everyone knows, we get a little information from a lot of people and write it down as facts. Some may be wrong and you have no way to disprove it so take their word for it. I enjoyed his book and donated it to the Library at our local Library. Nuff said. The only way I knew it was wrong is that I do have my line pretty complete and he had it wrong. I think his line was probably right though. If you can find one, by all means read it. Evelyn

    2. The Harrison Legacy is a book wiritten by Don D Harrison in July 1994. It is a brief history of the early Harrison History beginning with Sam Harrison, England 1575. He writes about Harrison of Alabama, brothers and sisters of Grancer Harrison. The greatest portion of the book is dedicated to Samuel Tennessee Harrison but he does give a lot of information on other lines as well. I actually spoke with Don Harrison about 2 months ago and requested a copy of the book and he doesn't have any and didn't have any plans to reprint any. There are some copies in various libraries in the Alabama area according to him. I am a decendant of John A. Harrison son of Grancer Harrison. Shelah Dallas, Texas

    2. I have been seeing a lot about William Grancer Harrison on here lately. I am a descendant of his brother, Henry Moses Harrison. Who can tell me about the book that is being mentioned here on the Harrison Legacy? Is it only on William Grancer or is it on the whole Clan? Thanks you. Evelyn Harrison Gassler
