Diane, I noticed that you had an ELLIS conection in Coffee Co., AL. That is the location and name of my line. My line is Thomas M. Ellis that married Martha Jane(Blackman) Plant (Wm Henry Plant buried in Coffee Co.) then she married Thomas M. Ellis. Do you have other info on that family? I know they had a daug. Callie that married Wm. C. Maddox there. I would be glad to share info that I have on that family. Yes, my ggggrandmother was Virginia A. Grant Barley Ellis. I have not worked my genealogy much this year at all with moving and Sept 11. I do know have some information about Viriginia and Monroe's children. I am related on the Barley side of that line when she was married to Washington Barley. I don't know for sure where Monroe is buried but Virginia is buried in Enterprise, I believe at Bethel Church Cemetery. Let me know what you need to know and I will try to look up the info in the records that I have--I know that Virginia lived with one of her daughters at the time of her death--that daughter was an Ellis.
