I loved him and was proud to have him as an uncle. If you do know or come across any one who can tell me about the Cotton family, I surely would appreciate it very much. My grandmother was Effie Jane Cotton who married Offie Oswald Williams. My father was Luther Franklin Williams. Again, thank you for contacting me. I will try to contact Jerry in Cupertino, computers are great for that sort of thing. Good luck with your search.
Dear Friends I am researching the descendents of William L. Hatcher who died just after 1900 in Coffee Co. AL. My wife descends from his son Robert L. Hatcher who died in 1935. Is anyone researching this family? Alvie L. We have an annual Hatcher reunion at the Reno (GA) community room in Reno, GA on the first Sunday in October each year. This is a small town just south of Whigham going toward Tallahassee. I have lots of Hatcher information but was hoping to learn more about Roscoe's father.

My wife's great uncle is named Roscoe Hatcher. He died in CA living with his son King Jerry Hatcher. I recalling seeing him at our Hatcher family reunion in Whigham, GA. All of his brothers and sisters are now deceased. There is a member of the Cotton family who might have some information and I will let you know what I find.

I know they are buried in Shelby co. TX at Hancock Cemetary, we recently purchased a head stone for Lou. I have heard a lot of stories, but none that actually said who was indian. I don't know what direction you're coming from, but here are the directions from Enterprise: Take Hwy 134 heading towards Opp. Go about 20 miles, through Ino, to Perry's Store. Take a left at Perry's store on 189, heading towards Kinston. Go about a mile, then go left on 467. Go a little more than a mile and turn left on 456. 456 is a dirt road, Old Town Cemetery is at the end of the road (about a mile). Georgia Fleming

any of the adkison/Adkinson researchers know if Britton Tryon >Adkinson buried in the Old Friendship Cemetery in >Richburg, Coffee Co. Al. Buried on the Boyd Farm. >Is the same as Britton Tyre Adkison jr.?? Does the Adkison/Adkinson mentioned above who was buried at the Old Friendship Cemtery fit into the Barbour Co./Coffee Co Adkison/Adkinson family some other way? The HELMS Research team lists the one at Boyd Farm as a son of Britton T. Adkison who was born abt 1780 and died 23 Feb 1838 and married in Robeson Co., NC 13 Dec 1804 to Sarah (Sallie) Beasley. Is that WRONG? They also list the sister of the one buried on the Boyd Farm as Elizabeth (Eliza) Jane Adkinson married to Charles Ingram Helms. Margaret Stewart aka Jay Carr

Can any one tell me where Mount Tabor cem. ? is. Ann
Seeking information on ANARIAH (ANNARIAH, ANNIE) THOMAS and her family. She was in Coffee County in the early 1860-70s. She was married to GABRIEL (GABREL, GABE) KETTNER in Alabama in 1860. I know they were in Coffee County at some point in that time frame, since Gabriel enlisted in the Confederate Army in Coffee County. I have been unable to locate anyone of her THOMAS family. She had a sister named NARCISSA (NARCISA) THOMAS and later one named CHARITY THOMAS. Any help or clue about anyone of the above named people would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Sincerely, Lois
