I stand corrected.....the church on one of the links showing the County Line Church is NOT the Old Harrison Church. >The renovated church you refer to as shown on the grancerthedancer site is >not related to the old church, >which once stood next to the partial building adjacent to the Harrison >cemetery. The Grancer Harrison referred to is William Grancer Harrison. I have read that his slaves referred to him as "Grand Sir". Take a look at http://www.grancerthedancer.com Click on WELCOME on the left side of page for a description of Grancer. There is a picture of the Grancer Harrison tomb after it was vandalized at http://www.grancerthedancer.com/content_webpages/contents_joansrelativeramblings.htm Joan West has created some great reading here also. Hello, ALCOFFEE Mail Listers, I want to take this opportunity to advise you of an addition to the Pea River Historical and Genealogical Society website located at http://www.rootsweb.com/~alprhgs . There are now shopping cart sales buttons on the website. This means that you can buy directly from the PRHGS from online with your credit card or PayPal account. I hope that you utilize and enjoy this new addition to the website. These buttons were added in April, but due to a little bit of confusion, misunderstanding or miscommunication, the website was collecting orders and payments but none were being processed for shipping. This was a total mistake. There was no intention of ill intent meant by this at all. The knowledge that the orders were there waiting online was not recognised until this week. Individual emails have now been sent to each purchaser with apologies and explanations. The orders were being processed and mailed this weekend. If you placed an order and did not promptly receive your merchandise, I do sincerely and humbly apologize for its lateness in delivery. Sooooo....now that we are aware that the orders are there, all orders will be processed much more expediently. All that will now hold up an order is PayPal processing the payment. This should not take more than a week. You can also join the Pea River Historical and Genealogical Society, or renew your membership, there. Folks, the PRHGS charges a bare minimum for shipping compared to others, I assure you. I ship and receive alot due to my business, and they have their shipping quite economically priced. There was new info added under some links on the Coffee County ALGenWeb Project website today. http://www.rootsweb.com/~alcoffee When you decide to take a break from searching records for info, grab a cup of coffee and take a break reading at My Thoughts page at http://www.rootsweb.com/~alcoffee/mythoughts01.html It is not genealogical related, but still concerns life. Okay...that is all I need today. I am pleased to see the messages that have been crossing the list of late.....hope all found something new. And remember, that I am more than glad to post anything that you find in your searches. New descendant charts are a really nice addition for all. You all, take care now..... Phyllis J. K.
