After either Shiloh or Corinth is disbanded and the men went to other commands. I had an ancestor in Company H Eufaula Light Infantry it transferred to the 48th Alabama. Brewer's History of Alabama has fairly good short sketch of the unit. I stand corrected by a friend in Enterprise. The Jones that I was thinking about did own a hardware store. However, Mr. Morris Jones, built the first motel in Enterprise. The Terry Motel is beside the First Methodist Church on Main street. It was named after his adopted son, Terry.
