I am seeking photos of any members of the Fowler family who came to Cleburne County about 1878 and lived in the Hightower area. My great-grandfather, William Jethro Fowler, came to Cleburne from Campbell County, GA, along with his wife, Lucinda Caroline Owen(s) Fowler, his widowed mother, Sarah Ann Norris Fowler, and his brothers and sister, George, Joel and Mary Kate Fowler. Joel married twice and moved to Bowden with his second wife. The rest remained in Cleburne and are buried at Ranburne Baptist Church, along with many of their children. They intermarried with many of the prominent families of Cleburne and some of their grandchildren carry those names -- Blake, Hand, Hurst, Gay, Vaughan, Walker, Johnson, Bradberry and many others. I have never seen a photo of my great-grandfather or my grandfather, Luther Clarence Fowler who married Lula Gadsey Blake. Neither have I seen a photo of my great-grandfather, Isaac Blake. If anyone has photos they would be willing to share, I would really appreciate it.
