I know absolutely nothing about Parthena Browning. The only child of her marriage to Robert Collier, that I know of is my hubby's great-grandfather, Thomas Newton Collier. On his death certificate, his son, Thomas Washington Collier, gave Parthena's name as 'Tiny' with no surname! That is all I knew of her from the time I married in 1968 until a couple of weeks ago, when I was reading my husband's Gwaltney/Gaultney chart..and it says Robert's wife was Parthena Browning. You can imagine how thrilled I was/am...but that is all I know! I am trying to contact the person who shared the chart, but no luck. Since he has no Collier connections, or Browning connections, this may be just something someone else shared with him. PLEASE let me know more about your BROWNING lineage of the 1800's! Maybe some name similarities will be a clue! Thanks again. Suz
