Rosalyn Carter Exhibit Walker County African American Historical & Alumni Association, Inc., with support from the City of Chickamauga, will host the Rosalyn Carter Exhibit from the Jimmy Carter National Historic Site of Plains, GA. The exhibit will be on display from January 27th to January 30th at the Lee-Gordon Mills Cabin. The exhibit will open on Thurs., Jan. 27th from 6 PM to 8 PM with a reception and special showing by Fred Sanchez, National Park Ranger, curator and manager of the Jimmy Carter National Historic Site in Plains, GA. The exhibit will be on display on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 28th and Jan. 29th from 1 PM to 6 PM and on Sunday, Jan. 30th, from 1 PM to 5 PM. Admission donations are $15 for Thursday and $10 for Fri., Sat., and Sun. This exhibit will profile the life of Rosalyn and Jimmy Carter and their struggles from a rural town of Ga. to the White House. The exhibit is based on Rosalyn Carter's book, FIRST LADY FROM PLAINS. An excellent story of success for children, young adults and rural Americans. WCAAHAA,Inc. is a 501-3c organization.
