Harriett, Thanks so much for the response. I did get another e-mail from a person who lives in Clay Co. and she thinks that perhaps he does in fact have a headstone. I will probably just drive up there next month. I went to Ashland a few yrs ago but, evidently went to the new cemetery instead of the old one. Will let you know what I find........
