She was the daughter of Willaim E. Barnett and Mazzella Hammonds. She was born in 1858 and died circa 1898. She was married to John Quiency Adams Brooks. They lived near Syllacauga in the 1890's.. He is buried at Hezebah Baptist Church. He died in 1930. They lived in Clay and in Talladega Counties.
