Deone, I am very interested in Mac Browning who in his later years ran a store about 4 miles east of Talladega on the Ashland highway. Probably born in the 1860s or 1870s. He was married to Lizzie Burgess, also from Clay County. After his death, Lizzie lived in a small house next door to her sister, my grandmother, Anna Burgess Arnold.
