Reference Holmes, I found this one an need to identify the Mae L. Holmes, Authur D., b 8/15/1902, d 1/31/1972 +Mae L., b 9/22/1905, d 3/15/1984 Location: County Line Cemetery, Talladega County AL off CR 35. I had information that Mary Ann Epperson was buried here with husband a UKN Holmes. Anyone have any additional information ? James and John are brothers and the sons of Rev. Isiah Holmes. Both of their wives were from Clay County and they all lived and died in Clay County. My Holmes were origanally from Coosa County, AL. and migrated up to Talladega and Clay Counties. I also have a Davis from Clay County. Lou Rainey Davis b. 7/17/1865 Coleta, Clay County, AL. She was the daughter of John W. Davis and Catherine Russell. Other children of John W. and Catherine Davis were: Thomas b. 1857, Martha Jane b. 1867, William E. b. 1869, Ella C. b. 1874, John H. b. 1875 and James E. b. 1879.
