My Grandfather was born in Lumpkin County, GA, moved to Walton Cty, GA when he was 12 years old. He was the son of Joseph B. Wilkins and Alice Head Wilkins. He was born in 1886 and died in 1972. His other brothers were G. C. Wilkins, J. W. Wilkins, all three of Monroe, GA and Luther Wilkins, Jackson, GA. Sisters were, Martha Wilkins Meadows, Monroe, GA and Ella Wilkins Young, Jackson, GA at the time of his death. I also remember a sister Sally Wilkins Grizzle of Monroe who preceded him in death.
