Surnames: Reynolds, Ashcraft, Green, Mayfield, Clarks, Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/2R.2ADE/1231 Message Board Post: I would like additional information about Levi Reynolds who married Elizabeth Mayfield, in Lincoln , Talladega County in 1839..they had one son named John H in 1840....John married a Mary Ashcraft date unknown and had Columbus McDonald Reynolds, Thomas Reynolds, Ellen , Salona, Viola, John, Thornton Levi.....Most moved out west..C-Texas, Lousiana, ARK..Columbus Mcdonald stayed at the old homeplace in Delta . Ala..HE married Willie Jane Smith.2nd married Delie Green.HE and wives buried at OLD PROVIDENCE CEMETERY in Clay County..I think LevI Who was granted land for his fightening the Indian wars may possibly have had other children...Also the Mayfields could possibly enlighten us on their marriage. Elizabeth Mayfield's father Austin Mayfield was in Talladega County also...HE came from SC..LEVI may have had other brothers there but I have not located any..I do have copies of his land grants in RAndolph Counties..though.....Also if there is any evidence of Columbus.Donald an! d or John Reynolds found in Georgia after 1850 it would be helpfull.
