My G. G. Grandmother was a Dial. She was the daughter of John Hastings Dial. She married my G. G. Grandfather in Walton County, Ga. in 1832. His name was W. Allen Brown. They lived near the Brownsville area of Southern Clay County. She was the mother of seventeen children. She is listed on the 1860 census with W. Allen Brown, but on the 1870 census he is in Morgan County Alabama, and she is not with him. I believed she died and is buried some where in Clay County, but I do not know where.
