I need to determine the background of my 3rd Gt. grandparents, Samuel and Anna Moore, who lived around Delta in Clay Co. from 1837 to their deaths around 1888(+/-). Samuel was a Primitive Baptist Minister and Anna served as a midwife in the area. Samuel was instrumental in starting the Shiloh PB Church at Delta and served as it's minister until just before his death in 1881. They had four daughters: Mary (m. Jacob G. Elliott), Margaret (m. Henry Poland), Martha Mariah W. (m. William Turner Smith), Edna Dilda (“Edee”) (m. Robert Augustus Hurst).
