Pauper Farm/Poor House Cemetery, Clay, Alabama Old people in the Ashland area of Clay County state at one time there was a Pauper Farm/Poor House Cemetery off of Highway 77. The cemetery was destroyed in the 1950’s. There was also a Pauper Farms Cemetery in Randolph County that some parts have been destroyed but a few graves are still visible.
