Hi Pam: I have been trying to reach you for some time and your email have returned to me. I will attach the returned email to the bottom of this one. My grandparents are Artimisia Patterson Hurst (daughter of Louisa Jane Watts & Thomas A. Patterson) and James Layafette Hurst (son of Hezekiah Edwin Carr Hurst & Sara Ann Freeman). I have a few Watts family photographs you may find interesting. Your research, I am sure is much more detailed than mine. I did start back in the 1970's when my cousin Eva Hurst Gillespie (daughter of Mandy Patterson & John F. Hurst) got me hooked. I retired a few years back and have been working on this project in earnest. I would be very interested in your research. Recently, I have been contacted by several Watt's researchers via message boards on ancestry.com. One Watts researcher referred me to this link http://awt.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=cwdill&id=I1689 He believes "our" Jacob Watts is the Jacob Watts on this page - see marriage number 2. I would be interested in what you think. Regards, Sandra Hurst Glendale, AZ This is my original email they keeps returning: Return-Path: <sisters@qwest.net> Received: (qmail 81114 invoked by uid 0); 12 Nov 2003 15:07:05 -0000 Received: from mpls-pop-10.inet.qwest.net (63.231.195.10) by mpls-qmqp-02.inet.qwest.net with QMQP; 12 Nov 2003 15:07:05 -0000 Received: from vdsl-130-13-174-225.phnx.uswest.net (HELO qwest.net) (130.13.174.225) by mpls-pop-10.inet.qwest.net with SMTP; 12 Nov 2003 15:52:47 -0000 Date: Wed, 12 Nov 2003 08:52:49 -0700 Message-ID: <3FB25751.6010207@qwest.net> From: "sisters" <sisters@qwest.net> To: pamshirey@acs-isp.com User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624 Netscape/7.1 (ax) X-Accept-Language: en-us, en MIME-Version: 1.0 Subject: ALCLAY Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hi Pam: I am related to the Patterson's and have talked to my cousins Joyce and Jerry recently. They have told me what they could remember regarding Artie Ruth Patterson & Lonzo Gamorse Sewell. Joyce gave me the names of their children Lilly Gay and Audrey Fay, but I need a bit more information if you have it. Also, I have in my FTM Gladys Swell that married Roy Lenord Casey. Again I have the names of their children not much else. Also, I am connected to the Shirey's though my Daddy's first cousin Millie Rebecca Watts wife of Marion Shirey.
