I have this information that I copied from the census 1880 US Census, Clay Co.,AL Beat 2, Coleta Ambrose Watts age 39, farming, b. 1841,NC, Father,VA; Mother NC. Nancy C.wife, age 33 b.1847, AL: Father b. TN; Mother b. VA Thomas G. age 4,b.1876 AL, father b. NC, mother b. NC, Wm. A. age 2 b. 1878; father b. NC; mother b. AL I did not find him in the 1900 census of Clay Co., so he may be listed in Talladega Co, because Coleta is so close to the county line they may have been included in that census.
