I'm interested in your Perry & Morris families who lived in Randolph, Clay, Tallapoosa, Calhoun Counties. My Perry married a Morris, but I have connecting lines that are somewhat complicated to explain because of cluster marriages. My ggg-grandfather was George W. L. Perry born Randolph Co., AL to James W. Perry & Martha A. C. Noel, daughter of Richmond Noel and Rhoda Waters Pruitt. After James W. Perry's death, Martha A.C. Noel Perry married an F.M. Brown. James W. Perry & Martha A.C. Noel had 4 children. #1 Richmond N. Perry who married Julia A. Kirk. They are buried in the Antioch Cemetery, Randolph Co., AL. #2 George Washing L Perry who married Susan Morris, dau of Isaac Morris and Mary B. Sharp of Tallapoosa Co., AL. #3 John Frank M. (aka Frank M. Perry) Perry who married probably 2x - 1st to an E. R. Peterson and 2nd to a Mary whose surname may have been Lynch. She was related to a Frank Lynch, but I don't know how. Members of this Lynch family may have owned a funeral parlor or tombstone engraving business in the 20th century in Randolph, Calhoun, or Clay Counties. At least one or more families in the Lynch clan moved to Texas where the parents of a daughter died and their daughter was reared in the Ellis Co., TX h/h of a George Richmond (Rich) Perry --(this one son of G.W.L. Perry & Susan Morris)-- and his wife Dorah Lynch. Martha A. C. Noel Perry married 2nd F. M. Brown - no other information is known about him. They had daughter Ariel Brown. Susan Morris had a sister, Elizabeth Morris who married George W. Hinkle. Another sister was Mary Morris who married Nathan W. McLain. A brother was James Isaac Morris who married Arian Brown, the half-sister of GWL Perry. To further complicate relationships James Isaac Morris and Arian Brown had a daughter Rhoda Morris who married James Benjamin (Ben) Perry, son of G.W.L. Perry and Susan Morris. Richmond Noel Perry and Julia Perry supposedly had 14 children. I have the names of 9, possibly 10. Their sons were John W. Perry, William F. Perry (lived in Clay County), James P. Perry, Richmond Allan Perry (lived in Clay County), Charles M. Perry, George Richmond Perry --(had 1st cousin by same name & both moved to Texas)--, and Thomas Perry. Known daughters included (I think) Anna Perry who married A. L. Kanady, Ella M.C. Perry, and Emily A. Perry (a twin to Wm. F. Perry). Richmond Allan Perry married Martha Bell Shivers. I'm particularily interested in collecting data on the desc. of Richmond N. Perry, but would also like to have information on any of the families mentioned above.
