They connect to my family through Rebecca Edmondson Waldrop and husband Jason G. Waldrop. Also Rebecca's brother Thomas Edmondson was once married into the Eldon Flint Mitchell family and I think the Miles Family has direct links to the Mitchell family. There are several Miles buried alongside the Mitchell/Edmondson group at Auslin's Chapel near Wedowee, Randolph Co., Al. I am no expert on these, I just research as a past time.
