My Grandmother Clara Pruett of Ashland, Alabama married a William Smith and I think they lived in the surrounding area. She was born in 1901, so possibly they were married in 1920. They had two children, William, Jr. and a small child. Husband and two children died in some type of epidemic and she married my grandfather Kenyon Johnson. Do you have any information on a William Smith? He was older than her I think by 14 years. My mom has a set of Smith silver left to her.
