Surnames: Blackstone Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/2R.2ADE/1295 Message Board Post: My grandfather, Leroy D Blackstone, lived in Lineville from sometime prior to 1920 to his death in 1949. His house was near a street bridge over a railroad running in a cut, possibly on 3rd Street. A sawmill was nearby on the railroad. The house was large with a carriage port in front and large rooms on either side of a central hallway. A water well was on the back porch and his blacksmith and woodworking ship was at the end of a short lane to the rear. His second wife, Ista Bartlett Blackstone is buried in the old Lineville cemetary but I do not know where he is buried. Also, I would like to find their marriage record.
