I want to say Hi and introduce myself. I am Debra Boswell Crosby and I am the new Alabama Archives Host for Chambers, Clay and Tallapoosa counties.!!!!! Thanks to Carolyn Golowka. I have worked several years as a Georgia Archives host because that is where I live. My ancestors are from Alabama though and I am proud now to host the Archives site for at least 3 of the counties where my ancestors lived!!! I am here because I love genealogy and family history and want to share as much as possible with anyone researching these areas. I hope to contribute my own data as well as help other researchers contribute their family records to the Clay, Chambers& Tallapoosa Archives. It is my goal to post our county records online. I know that we spend hours retrieving this data for our own personal interest but I also know that many of you, like myself feel that we need to share this data. I'm here to help in any way possible. If you have data on families from these counties.... Clay,, Chambers,,,, Tallapoosa,, as in court records, biographies, wills, estates, cemeteries, census, millitary, deeds, obituaries, etc.....please send them to me and I will have them posted on the Archives. which has the largest "rootsweb search engines" and will help many researchers!!
