    3. Harriet, I am trying to think where my census records might be, but it is too late , and I am so tired that all I can do is think "bed". I hope I can remember to look in t he morning, and I hope I can find the answer to your question. There were 115 pages on Ancestry.com for the Chandler Springs area. Bluff Springs, Brownville and Chandler Springs were all mixed together. Each page had 40 names, so you can understand how tired I am from reading them today. That is where my Hanson ancestors lived at the time. Has anyone come across a breakdown of the census records that would show population numbers, employment, churches, businesses, schools, etc., that would give a picture of the overall Bluff Springs community? Who were the community leaders or elected officials, or where did folks come from? Just wondering if anyone knows what the make up of the community was in 1860. Harriet
