According to talk I heard growing up, Martella was part Creek Indian – I am trying to verify this. I have her parents: Carter Baker and Emma Wilson. Emma’s Parents are James and Mary Wilson. My trail has run cold on the Wilson family – If anyone has any information I would appreciate it very much. My Grandmother is Mary Ruth Hallmark (born June 2, 1916) was from Clay County, Alabama.
