I want to say again welcome to the list Peggy, and all new subscribers. There are some pretty good folks on this list and lot's of us looking for our Clay Co. people. There are times when the list is quiet and times when it gets busy but it\s been my experience that most are very helpful when they can be. Please don't hesitate to send your queries, surnames and other related Clay Co. items of interest to the list. The list is only active when WE use it!!! We also have the Clay County GenWeb pages http://www.rootsweb.com/~alclay/ and Clay Co. AlArchives pages at http://www.rootsweb.com/usgenweb/al/clay.htm to assist Clay Co. researchers and you might also want to consider joining the RAN-CLAY-L@rootsweb.com mailing list. Happy Hunting!!! I am still amazed at how many of our Clay Co. people went to Texas!!! Quite a few it seems.
