    1. [17] Moores, Poland, Smith, Hurst, in early Clay Co.
    2. I need to determine the background of my 3rd Gt. grandparents, Samuel and Anna Moore, who lived around Delta in Clay Co. from 1837 to their deaths around 1888(+/-). Samuel was a Primitive Baptist Minister and Anna served as a midwife in the area. Samuel was instrumental in starting the Shiloh PB Church at Delta and served as it's minister until just before his death in 1881. They had four daughters: Mary (m. Jacob G. Elliott), Margaret (m. Henry Poland), Martha Mariah W. (m. William Turner Smith), Edna Dilda (“Edee”) (m. Robert Augustus Hurst).

    1. [17] Ezekiel Fuller in GA/AL
    2. Recently started researching Ezekiel Fuller, b. abt. 1801 in SC, according to census information. He was in Walton County, GA by the 1830 census. In the 1850 census of Jackson County, GA, he was living with wife Ann (maiden name unknown), b. abt. 1799 GA and children Elizabeth, b. 1832 GA; Nancy, b. 1836 GA; and Wilson L., b. 1839 GA in Dwelling #406. Sons James, b. 1827 GA and William F., b. 1822 GA and their families were in Dwellings #400 and #405. Ezekiel moved to Randolph County, AL by the 1860 census where he lived in the Almond PO, Southern District with wife Anna, 61, and daughter Elizabeth, 28. Because Clay County was created from Randolph and Talladega Counties in 1866, I have not yet confirmed that only county lines changed and Ezekiel did not actually move, but by the 1870 census, Ezekiel, 68, lived in Miller Valley P.O., Clay County, AL with his wife Anna, 71, and daughter Elizabeth, 38. In the 1880 Clay County census, Almond District, Wilson Fuller, 40, GA, an! d his family lived in Dwelling #149 next to his sister Elizabeth, 48, GA in Dwelling #150 without Ezekiel or Anna. Would appreciate any information about Ezekiel or his family.

    3. This site is nothing but a set of links to the already existing AlArchives. I'm not sure why this person has set up this site but it's clearly nothing more than a set of links to already existing resources which you can all access at http://www.rootsweb.com/usgenweb/al/alfiles.htm and which many of you have contributed to yourselves. Just another duplicating web page to make things confusing for researchers.
