I have tons of info on the Brownings of Clay County. My gggrandfather was James Madison Browning. He had many children, one of whom was William Jesse, who was my ggrandfather. He married Sara Francis Bradberry, they had 14 children, one of whom was my grandmother, Ara Virginia. She married a Browning from Tallapoosa County, (no relation, or very distant) so my father, an only child, Emery, was a double Browning. I have much info on my grandmother's side, but nothing past my great grandfather, John David Browning, from Tallapoosa county. I will be happy to share everything I have, if this is your Browning line. I will have to copy and mail it all to you, though. Let me know. And if you have any info on the Brownings, please send it. It could be that it is something I don't have. And who knows? Maybe the Talladega County Brownings are my grandfathers...they could have moved around. Best Regards, Your Maybe Cousin, Gloria Browning Moyer

I am familiar with a Ezekiel Fuller b. abt 1801 SC and his wife Anne, UNK, who moved to Randolph County, AL, from Georgia before the 1860 census and both died in Clay County, AL (they either moved or the boundary line changed ) before the 1880 census. A daughter Elizabeth lived with them. One of their sons, Wilson L. Fuller, lived in Tallapoosa County before moving to Clay County. Another son, James M, lived in Coosa County, AL. Would also like to know more, especially where Ezekiel is buried. -------------- Original message -------------- > Does anyone know anything about the Fullers or Prathers of Tallapoosa and/or > Clay County, Alabama? > Thank you. > > > ==== ALCLAY Mailing List ==== > Visit Clay County ALGenWeb > http://www.rootsweb.com/~alclay/ >
