    3. Thanks to Elisabeth Green-Streeter we have online for Clay Co. a letter written "back home" to Randolph (Now Clay) Co. This is a fascinating letter from an Owens family in which quite a few families in Alabama are mentioned. Though I didn't find any of my ancestors listed I can tell you that I found it fascinating reading into what it must have been like for our early ancestors moving to a "foreign" land. Arnold; my grandfather's older siblings (although he was not born yet); my great grandmother, Sarah Barnes; and a reference to her father, Lewis Barnes. I am sending this note because often you never know how helpful your efforts are for other folks.
