Here's another McDaniel Daniel J.McDANIEL md Nancy Oma A WILSON 3 Oct 1893 in Clay Co. AL BK 3 I have located them in the 1900 Clay Co. AL and in 1910 in Randolph Co. AL censuses. There is a Columbus T in this group of children. Two of the children md. BLANKS. Daniel's family has been located in the 1880 census in DeKalb Co. AL Nancy O A Wilson was a sister to my grandmother. Her parents were Martin Van Buren and Caroline Lucinda (WORTHY) Wilson. There were 8 children. Nancy was the youngest. Have not been able to date her death or burial. The Arrie mention--I can't locate it now--ties into the Walker family. That is really interesting about the Cherokee Indian line, I had never heard that before. That means Pheribee Ropers line was Cherokee if it is true? I have checked the Monroe County Ga. Census for the years 1830 and 1840 but found no Ropers. Clark and Pheribee were married in 1836 in Monroe county so they should have been on one of them. I may have to make a trip to Monroe cty. I haven't even found where Pheribee was buried or when she died.....any info on that?

My Great Grandmother (Christiana Levina Sewell) had a sister, Mary V. Sewell. Christiana married Thomas B. Carden 2/3/1885 in Clay County, Al.* Their daughter, Julia D. Carden married James D. Lee. Their son, Richard Marvn Lee ws my father. I cannot find any info about Pheriby's parents. Do you have anything on the Roper line? Christiana was first married to T. L. Tunnell 11/7/1877. About the Cherokee...I've always been told that my Great Grandmother was Cherokee??

There were possible relations, Caroline TATE who was married to a Stephen JOHNSON. They lived in Talladega, Tallapoosa and Jefferson Co from 1850 to 1880. They had one son named William Thomas MCDaniel..or Bill-Billy I am in contact with this ones great grandson Bill McDaniel.WE only knew that John McDaniel died, then Margaret Elizabeth McJunkin-McDaniel married W. B Yarbrough..Then they had one daughter MAPY Yarbrough.. The Margaret Elizabeths parents were Thomas M McJUNKIN and Mary Partheny Poole McJunkin.. Elizabeth had another sister Mary Clementine McJunkin who married James Pettis Kenady ..All lived in the Sikesville, Clay County,Ala .Almond. James P KEnady adn Mary C Mcjunkin Kenady had 8 children..ONE OF these children, Laura , married a Samuel McDaniel. We think that Christopher Columbus McDaniel may have been a brother to one of these...WE all go to Pioneer day at the MT. Gilead UM Church in October..Last year the speaker spoke about the McDaniels..This church has a homecoming the 4th Sunday in May also.. WE would love tying this information together with yours.. My grandfather was the 2nd child, William Allen (1905-1960) and Mamie Bell Banks McDaniel. I live in Pelham, GA but is actually in Grady Co, GA. I live about a mile from the homeplace of Alonzo Allen and Annie. Both are buried in the Meigs Sunset Cemetery, Meigs, Thomas CO, GA about 6-7 miles from homeplace. I have some info on the family that I have picked up from the web and would be interested in more about the family site that you mention or the packet of info that you have. I have asked for info on the James William line from one of his descendants that lives in the Pavo and Thomasville, Thomas Co, GA areas. I think it would be a granddaughter also.
