If anyone has information for Mr. Brown, please contact him directly at CB0537@aol.com ----- Original Message ----- From: CB0537@aol.com To: poohbos@poohbos.com Sent: Friday, August 29, 2003 2:33 AM Subject: Dial Family cemetary Is there a Dial family cemetery in Clay County? My G. G. Grandmother was a Dial. She was the daughter of John Hastings Dial. She married my G. G. Grandfather in Walton County, Ga. in 1832. His name was W. Allen Brown. They lived near the Brownsville area of Southern Clay County. She was the mother of seventeen children. She is listed on the 1860 census with W. Allen Brown, but on the 1870 census he is in Morgan County Alabama, and she is not with him. I believed she died and is buried some where in Clay County, but I do not know where. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Charles Brown
I am very interested in communicating with descendants of the following or anyone who has these folks in their ancestry line: Flora J. Arnold b. Oct 1773 Dora Arnold b. Oct 1875 Sarah F. b. Nov 1878 Mary B. Arnold b. June 1889 Jefferson Vincent Arnold Sr. b. 2 Sept.1884 William T. Arnold All were born in Clay County, Alabama and are the children of James V. Arnold (b. 1853; d. 19 Apr 1920) and Susan Frances Barnes (b. June 1850, Clay County). They were married 21 Nov 1872. The father of James V. Arnold was Wiley V. Arnold who died in Bibb County in 1889. I am searching for documentation or leads on the ancestry of James V. Arnold. I would be glad to know if anyone knows of the burial site of any of the above. (An infant son of William T. is in the small cemetery of Hatchett Creek Baptist Church). Would appreciate any information on this Arnold (or Barnes) line . Merrell Arnold
