The initial version of my new site is up and hobbling (many things still need to be done to it). I have information on MITCHELL, CLARK, ALLBRIGHT, BEAN along with some other related lines at http://lookingbackwards.net Still trying to determine the correct parentage for Henry Thomas MITCHELL, b 1828 in Coweta GA to John (& Asenath Jones/Emily Holtzclaw ??). By 1850, Henry had married Martha Lucinda Bean and were living near his sister & her brother Sarah Ann Mitchell/David Marcellus Bean in the Randolph/Clay Co area of AL.
Hi all, For several years, I've had a website hosted at GeoCities.com, entitled "All My Relations" (yeah, kind of pretentious, but I have hopes...) For various and sundry reasons, all having to do with changes in Yahoo's terms of use and accessibility problems, I've finally bitten the bullet and purchased a domain name for it. So, here is the announcement -- http://www.geocities.com/hr_mitchell will shortly become http://lookinbackwards.net A referral page will be set up to bounce to the new site once it is all operational, but please begin to update bookmarks. Thanks, Herb Mitchell http://www.geocities.com/hr_mitchell http://lookingbackwards.net Searching: Mitchell, Jones, Phares, Knowles, Robinson, Clark, Vanderpool, Gibson, Campbell, Bean...not necessarily in that order.

My Grandmother Clara Pruett of Ashland, Alabama married a William Smith and I think they lived in the surrounding area. She was born in 1901, so possibly they were married in 1920. They had two children, William, Jr. and a small child. Husband and two children died in some type of epidemic and she married my grandfather Kenyon Johnson. Do you have any information on a William Smith? He was older than her I think by 14 years. My mom has a set of Smith silver left to her.

John Bradford, son of Nathaniel and Matilda Bradford, was the second husband of my 2ggm Mary Ann Beavers Mullins Bradford Harris. (Yes, she had three husbands, all younger than she and she out-lived them all!) John died relatively young (abt 34-35) after being married to Mary Ann for about 8 years. They had four children. I do not have much on the Bradfords. I have not worked on that "step-line" very much. I think that there is a good chance that Nathaniel's mother was the Lucy Bradford living next door to him in the 1850 census with four of her children. It seems that Nathaniel et al came to Randolph Co AL from GA between 1845 and 1847. There is a Lucy Bradford in 1830 and 1840 GA census but they may or may not be she. I have not worked on the line in GA. Don't have much but am willing to share what I have. CindyHMB At 01:26 PM 10/16/2003 -0400, Irene Caperton wrote: >In search of information regarding Mary F.
