A clipping I just found, dating to sometime in 1943 after the 19th of February. It's headed "Prichard Personals", and possibly is from the Clarke Co. paper: Visitors to Prichard this week included Mrs. Lydia Davis, her daugther, Miss Clara Jane Davis, and Mrs. Mary Carrol from Temple, Texas. They were the guests of Judge and Mrs. W.I. Davis, and the judge accompanied them to Thomasville, Ala. -- where they visited Judge A.S. Johnson and Mrs. Sue E. Johnson. They also visited Bashi, where they were the guests of Carlton Patterson and family and Oscar Terry and family. (The visitors were my grandmother and two aunts. Will Irby Davis was my grandfather's double first cousin, Sue Johnson was his half-sister, and Albert Johnson was his half-nephew. I believe the Pattersons and Terrys also to have been cousins.) I am interested in finding out if anybody is researching any of the Johnsons, Pattersons, or Terrys mentioned here. Nancy Davis Harwood Houston, TX
