His children were: Reuben, Benj., Obediah Jr, Joseph Issac and Elizabeth. Elizabeth Chapman's parents were Elijah Chapman and Elizabeth "Betsy" Martin. Eljah Chapman's parent were Giles Chapman, Jr and Mary Summers. The Chapman and Summers family came from PG Co, MD to Newberry Co, SC to Clarke Co., AL and then on to Choctaw Co, MS.
