I am looking for information on Rigdon Norris. Ancestry.com shows him listed in the 1860 Clarke County Al Census. I have not been able to find that census online so I don't know what it says. Is there anyone around Clarke County who would be willing to do a lookup to see if there is a will on file for him or possibly an obituary. I have him b abt 1795 in Oglethorpe or Wilkes County Ga. His parents did not move, but they formed Oglethorpe out of part of Wilkes at about the time of his birth. He has a nephew, J R Norris,Sr who is buried in the "Norris Cemetery" on Co Rd 29 near Gainstown, but there is no sign of Rigdon. I might add that in 2 years of researching the Norris Family, I have found only the one Rigdon Norris. So if someone runs across one by that name, I would love to hear from you.
