Hello Folks! I am looking for family information on my grandfather James Madison SNOWDEN born May 1878. I have found him in census records in the state of Mississippi from 1900-1920 each say his father (not sure of his name but believe it to have been Madison James SNOWDEN or James Madison SNOWDEN) was born in FL and 2 say my grandfather was born in FL. I do not have much information of them. My aunt once said that Madison James Snowden had the following sisters: Hattie who married a Williams; Mary Walston (helped to raise James Madison) married a Rooney; Mollie who married a Dees (?spelling); Grace who married a Thompson. This same aunt said her great grandpa was J.N. SNOWDEN. I have nothing before the census of Perry/Forrest County, Mississippi 1900 as documentation. Any Help would be welcome. PS:It would be nice to find cousins to visit with at our reunion the June 24,2000 at the McLaurin Community Center, McLaurin, Forrest Co., MS. Patty(Snowden)Herring
