In the State Archives there is a list of early churches with names of the members and notes on many people. I have not seen it, but have been wanting to see a copy of those notes for years. (I am interested in the Gainstown Methodist Church, Marvin Chapel in Barlow Bend and the Suggsville Church.) I live in California, so it's not going to be easy. It would be great if someone in Alabama could get it and post it to the whole list!!!
