Hopefully, this small bit of information will help others looking for this same family. I found that there were two William Talbert's living in Clarke Co, AL at the same time, one married to nancy Rebecca Courtney and the other to Elizabeth Sheppard. One Mr. Talbert spelled his name Tolbert, or at least the person writing the item spelled them differently. Gail Tolbert Street
