    1. Cemetaries location project
    2. Dwight David Dennis
    3. Hi everyone. I've tried to find a few of the cemetaries of unknown location for the following project with little sucess. I've not put much effort into yet as I need to finish articles for the CHILTON COUNTY HERITAGE book (deadline the end of this month). Many of the descriptions in the "Cemetaries of Chilton" book are becoming hard to use due to the rapid growth of the county and descriptions such as "the second paved road on the right". If anyone can help locate them or add to the list I have a GPS (Global Satalite Postioning Unit) which can give an exact position on the map for them. Several I could not find due to heavy brush and not wanting to trespass on private property without checking with the owner. Maybe if they were located some desendants would be able to clean them up. I hope to devote March 1999 to finding as many as I can and will post a webpage with details and progress made. The following are cemetaries that are not availible on any of the maps they have used. Many may be relatively easy to find. If you know of the location of any of these and can send me details I will try to see that they are marked on the map for this project. I'm sorry but I'm currently taking over a webpage for a GA county and transcribing and/or coordinating such for 3 censuses and may not be able to thank or respond to replies. Please accept my thanks in advance for any help and use this address and subject for emails so they are filed in advance. dddennis@concentric.net subject line; Cemetaries Cemeteries of Unknown Location Cemetery Locale Location Church Affiliation and Remarks County Abbott 222 - SW T20N, R13E, Sec 32 the graves of Isham W.
