Elizabeth, I enjoyed your site and was thrilled to see the photo of the Moncrief store!! It looks like "S. W. Moncrief". Does anyone know if Sam MONCRIEF (who married Martha) started that store? Do any of you know which MONCRIEF..... Isaac or Sam.... was the father of Cematha/Samantha MONCRIEF, 2nd wife of Peter COOPER? Thanks!!
